We’re currently seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Construction Executive for Central Virginia, bringing expertise, mentorship, and leadership to our field teams.

- $170K-$190K Base(DOE) + Bonus

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 20+ years in the construction industry, with experience in team leadership and mentorship.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial construction practices, materials, scheduling, and industry standards.
- Demonstrates high standards of integrity, fairness, and dedication in every aspect of work.
- Able to address challenges creatively and focus on achieving positive outcomes.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Operations Leadership & Support
- Act as a representative for field teams, addressing team needs, resolving challenges, and suggesting process improvements.
- Guide, train, and mentor field staff, helping them build career skills and prepare for advancing roles.
- Work with Superintendents to foster team development and support knowledge-sharing and job-site management training.
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork that aligns with our core mission and values.
Staffing and Resource Management
- Coordinate with operations leaders to maintain optimal staffing levels, in line with project demands, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Play a role in recruiting and hiring field staff, including Superintendents for the region.
Project Preparation & Execution
- Partner with preconstruction and operations teams to structure project teams and oversee planning.
- Contribute to site logistics, budgeting, subcontractor evaluations, and scheduling strategies.
- Uphold the company’s safety and health standards by implementing safe practices, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance.
- Lead quality control efforts, ensure adherence to procedural standards, and oversee construction methods and processes.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, review schedules, and collaborate with teams on quality and safety.
- Ensure project milestones are met, guide task prioritization, and address on-site challenges promptly.
- Support field teams in managing warranty issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain project efficiency.
